Hello from my new website. As I try to figure out how to properly HTML code everything and set stuff up, I wanted to share some photos from my Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera.
I’ve been trying to go on walks more, as working a desk job the past two years has already started to leave effects on my still young and limber twenty-something-year-old body. I wake up and feel a good 45. I’ve been really into setting up my own rituals for the morning and after work, and as part of that, I go on walks after lunch at work and another as soon as I get home.
If you are a loyal Goblin.Shawty enthusiast [this is literally for one friend of mine who told me they look at my website sometimes, hehehe love you], you’ll notice there’s a new tab for a film experiment I’m working on. To bring this tangent back to a more linear space, I’ve been taking my digital camera with me on my walks to scout out locations where I may want to shoot some scenes.
It’s been nice to be more mobile and not so sedentary. I’ve never been someone super inclined toward fitness because I was bullied™ in high school and walked the mile with my friends in PE. Additionally, I have a complicated relationship with fitness as a young adult. More and more fitness culture in the United States has become even more attached to eu**centric beauty standards and toxic culture of disordered eating, both of which I have actively and somewhat successfully avoided my entire life, and I intend to continue to do so. Finding ways to engage in building a better, more connected, and healthy relationship with my body is certainly a learning process, but one I pursue with curiosity and an open mind. More on that in subsequent blogs. But for now, some pretty pictures.
